NEW UPDATE: Update Capstone 1 Test!
Hello Everyone,
Due to the game winning unofficial otterjam 2025. I’ve decided to make this my capstone project. Mostly due to the success, and the fact that it works well on mobile. I’ve decide to release a series of updates every week, called the C-XT Builds for testing on the capstone project. Leading to a final demo build by may 12th.
I hope you enjoy the new content.
Update C-1T
New Towers:
Bit Collector: Collects bits instead of the user — good for large generator setups
Bit Burner: Applies fire procs in an area, pierces shields
Auto Cube: Fires toward cursor, low damage
Launcher Cube: AoE explosive shots, high splash + stun, slow recharge
Landmine: Explodes on contact
Laser Turret: Like freeze turret, but actually does damage
New Enemy:
Bitstealer: Steals bits
Rebalance:
- Feedback from the jam + made the game feel less slow
- Bit Generator faster @ 12s per bit
- Turret reworked: faster firing, more like a turret
- Waves reworked: larger waves at intervals
- Start with 1 tower: Bit Generator
- Grenades cheaper @ 25 Bits, but work slower
- Towers can take damage, enemies damage towers
- Everything flashes on damage
- Fast forward mode: 2x speed
- Pause + settings menu
- Cards have tiers — no 425 Bit cards early
UI:
- Title menu redesign (Retro Desktop)
- Settings menu added
Multi-Platform Support:
- Mobile: iOS (private test), Android APK — native support
- Desktop: Discord presence included

- Bit generators
- Explosions
- Card selection
- Card folding

- Title Screen 1: Mindpalace – Retromancer
